Calling all “party animals!” You are invited to celebrate the season and help a great local animal rescue at a fun holiday party that is family-friendly and open to the community at the HART holiday party!
Homeless Animals Rescue Team (HART) is a great no-kill animal rescue organization that helps hundreds of cats and dogs find temporary care and forever homes in Northern Virginia. This fantastic group of volunteers works all year-round to save the lives of cats and dogs who need help. To celebrate its success (and help raise funds to help even more animals), the group is hosting the HART Annual Holiday Party on Saturday, December 8, 2018, from 6 pm to 10 pm.
The fun takes place in the beautiful Great Hall at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Herndon’s Franklin Farm area. There will be a great silent auction plus raffle prizes, food and fun, and all proceeds benefit HART so it can continue its lifesaving work. At the party you can help celebrate the group’s success, learn about wonderful pets looking for a forever home, win prizes, and have fun with family and friends.
Tickets to the Holiday party are $25 each and include food, beer, wine, soft drinks, desserts, and a goodie bag with five raffle tickets. Children age 12 and under are free, and there will be a kids’ activity table for the little ones. Silent auction items include baskets full of pet supplies, personal goods such as wine sets and jewelry, gift certificates, and tickets to fun activities such as a Washington Nationals baseball game. There also will be holiday entertaining items, sports memorabilia, and more. These items could be great prizes for you or to give as gifts this holiday season! Learn more about the event and buy tickets at the HART party website.
