This is a recap of a sponsored event.
Last week we teamed up with Dentistry for Children of Northern Virginia to host a fun preschool playdate! We met at the Fairfax location of this dental practice for a morning of fun with story times, crafts, and a tour of this bright and friendly facility. Dentistry for Children strives to provide a welcoming place for children and does so with a cheerful lobby, lots of play areas, and themed rooms. You can read more in our original post.
As guests arrived, young patrons got to play in fun areas such as this neat little “house:”
They also had a chance to make arts and crafts and enjoy snacks before meeting a princess for story time:
The princess read stories including one from the company’s own book. Then everyone had a chance to tour the entire facility, including its many themed rooms, which are decorated in fun motifs such as space, Washington DC landmarks, and George Mason University (a tribute to the school right across the street) — even the hallways are nicely painted! Guests also saw the state-of-the-art facility and learned about how to keep a healthy smile from the dentists and staff.
Afterward, guests got a fun goodie bag and had a little more play time. Of course, going to the dentist is not all “fun and games,” but it also need not be an intimidating experience. This is why the company makes an effort to provide an environment that makes children — and the parents! — feel at ease.
