Disney on Ice presents Celebrate Memories

Valentine’s Day is coming up and you may be making plans to celebrate with your significant other… or with your significant others, plural. Although it’s still mostly a day when people celebrate romantic love, for others it’s also a day to celebrate all kinds of love, including the affection they hold for family members, especially children. In a fun coincidence, every year when Disney on Ice presents its winter show in the Washington, DC, area, it falls around Valentine’s Day. This year is no exception, as Disney On Ice presents “Celebrate Memories!” brings its tour to Capital One Arena Feb. 13-17, 2020.

There are nine of performances in total, one of which is on Valentine’s Day evening. A nice “plus” is that this is a long weekend, with two shows also taking place on Monday, Feb. 17, a Federal holiday (President’s Day), when most kids and employees will have a day off.

As with most Disney on Ice shows, this production features classic Disney characters along with stars from more recent hits in multiple segments that create “shows within a show.” With Disney On Ice presents Celebrate Memories! guests will sail along with Moana on her high-seas adventure and dance with Woody, Buzz and all the Toy Story friends. They also will see how love wins in Frozen and dreams come true for the Disney princesses. Thursday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 pm
Friday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 pm
Saturday, Feb. 15 , at 10:30 am, 2:30 pm, and 6:30 pm
Sunday, Feb. 16, at 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm
Mon. Feb. 17 (President’s Day), at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm
