One of the most beloved local parks, Clemyjontri, recently completed some renovations, and everyone is invited to celebrate on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, for an afternoon of family fun. Clemyjontri is a unique Fairfax County Park Authority facility where all children can play side by side. The park is truly accessible, designed without barriers to accommodate wheelchair users, those with walkers or braces, or who have sensory or developmental disabilities (for other resources for special-needs family fun, see our list).
Since the park opened in 2006, it has hosted more than 200,000 visitors each year, which lead to some wear and tear. With around $1 million in renovations now complete, the park authority invites the community to celebrate with special activities. See details below the photo!
