Hey, local folks… you need a vacation! Says who? Says the U. S. Travel Association, which conducted a recent survey that revealed that people in and around the nation’s capital left more than 17.3 million vacation days “on the table” last year. In response, Busch Gardens® and Water Country USA® in Williamsburg, Virginia, want to help you out. To encourage Washingtonians to take time away from work this summer and enjoy family fun, the park is offering a special pass to area residents.

The U.S. Travel Association’s Project: Time Off report on Under-Vacationed America shows Washington, D.C., tops this year’s list of U.S. metropolitan cities with the most unused vacation time. The two parks less than three hours away by car from the DC area are making weekend (or longer) getaways easy with the Time Off DC pass. For about $1 a day, Metro Washington residents can buy a specially priced pass for unlimited visits to both parks through Sept. 10, 2017.
This limited-time offer, available only to D.C.-area residents, is available through June 22, 2017, online at www.buschgardens.com/TimeOffDC. Both parks offer great fun options: At Busch Gardens, attractions include the newest ride, InvadR™, the first wooden roller coaster at the park. The Viking-themed coaster features a 74-foot drop and nine air-time hills that make it a force to be feared. Water Country USA, Virginia’s largest water park, offers fun for all ages with resort-style amenities and more than 40 state-of-the-art water rides and attractions.
